Simultaneous determination of moisture and thickness of leather using terahertz time domain spectroscopy

Moisture content and thickness of leather are measured using terahertz time domain spectroscopy combined with effective-medium theory. This method is a new non- invasive technique. The results are in good agreement with conventional techniques.
