Microscopic Description Of The Alpha‐Clustering Phenomenon In (2s‐1d)‐Shell Nuclei

States that exhibit the properties of α‐cluster resonances are studied in (2s‐1d)‐shell nucleus 32S. The generalized Hamiltonian of the Elliott SU(3) model is used to classify these states and to calculate their spectra. The results of the analysis are found to be in a good agreement with the bulk of the experimental data.
