Cooker with light elements

The invention relates to a cooking device with a cooking surface, consisting of a glass or glass ceramic material, at least one heating element and at least one light-emitting element are arranged in the region below the underside of the cooking surface, wherein the heating element by means of a pressing device directly or indirectly under bias of one or more spring members abuts against the underside of the cooking surface. To improve the operational reliability of such a cooking appliance according to the invention it is provided that the one or more light-emitting elements and the at least one heating element are arranged on a common supporting portion of the pressing device such that they are adjustable at a vibration of the cooking surface.
