The paper presents an assessment of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the prostate (HolEP), as a novel surgical method aimed at BPH treatment. In the course of the present research, 29 patients aged 58 74 years with symptomatic BPH underwent HoLEP. Before the surgery the average prostate volume was 62.8±19.3 cm3, IPSS 21.3±4.1, QoL 4.1±0.8, Qmax 8.0±2.2 ml/s, PRV 49.3±45.1 ml.
