Chromosome Banding and NORs in Cervus Nippon Hortulorum Swinhoe

1989
SUMMARYChromosome banding analyses were performed in the manchurian sika deer (Cervus nippon hortulorum Swinhoe). Four chromosomes (no. 9 with 24 and 26 with 31 respectively) are involved in centric fusion polymorphisms. Perfect banding resemblances of chromosome arms to C. elaphus were observed. The NOR localizations were at the telomeres of chromosomes no. 1 and 2.
