Buena respuesta a la Ivermectina en dos pacientes HIV con sarna costrosa

2000
Crusted (Norwegian) scabies is an itchy, highly infectious ectoparasitosis,. Caused by infestation with Sarcoptes Scabiei, var. Hominis. It's usually associated to immunological or neuropsychological impairment. Treatment with scabicides and/or keratolytic agents is commonly insufficient. Ivermectin is a worldwide used drug to control onchocerciasis and other parasitosis. In veterinary medicine, controls infection by insects, worms and other organims. It can be formulated for topical and oral delivery. We report two cases of crusted scabies, well responsive to two oral doses of 200 Mg/Kg/doses of ivermectin.
