A New Black Currant Cultivar 'Suiyan 1'

'Suiyan 1'is a new black currant cultivar which selected from natural seedlings of 'Polietemali'.The fruit is nearly round,black,medium thickness and big. The average weight of single fruit is 1.62 g,the largest fruit weighs 5.2 g,and it tastes well and ripen in the same period. Fruit mature on July 9 in Harbin,belong to early-maturing cultivar. It has resistant to powdery mildew.
