Compositions and methods for lysophosphatidic acid binding

2008
An isolated monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding antibody fragment that binds to lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) under physiological conditions and that comprises at least one immunoglobulin heavy chain variable domain comprising three regions of chain complementarity (CDR) determining The amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 56, 57, and 58 and a light chain variable domain comprising three light chain CDRs having the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 59, 60, and 61, wherein said monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding antibody fragment optionally: a. it is selected from the group consisting of a chimeric antibody, a humanized antibody, a full length antibody, an affinity matured antibody, or an antigen-binding fragment of any such antibody; and / or b. it is conjugated with a moiety selected from the group consisting of a polymer, a radionuclide, a chemotherapeutic agent and a detection agent.
