Relationship Between Variation of Protein,Amino Acid,Low-molecular Carbohydrate in Over-wintering Diaphania pyloalis Walker Larvae and Cold-hardiness

2005
Content variation of protein, amino acid and low-molecular carbohydrate in the body and hemolymph of over-wintering larvae were measured by spectrophotometer, liquid chromatogram and amino acid measuring apparatus. Relation of these substance and cool-hardiness was analyzed. Results showed that protein transferred between body and hemolymph in the period of over-wintering. Super-cooling capability enhanced along with protein content of blood increasing, weakened along with decreasing. Content variety trends of Ser, Ala, Tyr, Lys and Arg were approximately same with and consistent the changing of supper cooling point. Content of these kinds of amino acid increased quickly in winter whereas decreased quickly along with ending of over-wintering. Contents of these five kinds of amino acids affected super-cooling point and cold-hardiness capability. The cold-hardiness substance system in Diaphania pyloalis Walker was made up of low-molecular carbohydrate(trehalose, mannitol and sorbitol)-amino acid (Ser, Ala, Tyr, Lys and Arg)-glycerin-protein-combined fat.
