Superconducting properties of electrochemically Li+ intercalated Y1Ba2Cu3O7−δ thin films

Abstract We have intercalated c-axis oriented Y 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ thin films with Li + ions. Undoped films were grown by a pulsed laser deposition technique. A strong correlation was observed between the superconducting properties of Y 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ and the number of inserted Li + ions. A maximum T c of 92.5 K was measured for intercalation with one Li + ion per unit cell.
