CREEP DEFORMATION OF PRECIPITATION STRENGTHENED 15Cr—25Ni STAINLESS STEELS

ABSTRACT Creep deformation of precipitation strengthened 15Cr–25Ni austenitic steels have been modeled taking account of back stresses due to both the intergranular and intragranular carbide. The unified creep equation based on the model is in very close agreement with experimental data and gives a acceptable description of creep behavior of precipitation strengthend stainless steel.
