Fake violation of the « Cabibbo universality » in the « Cabibbo-suppressed » D decays and implications for the right-handed currents

The substantial excess of D0 → K−K+ over π+π− is shown to suggest the existence of a right-handed current with appropriate couplings of c to s and d quarks, which are compatible with those obtained in the previous analyses.
