Predicting Tubing Life in Annular-Flow Gas Condensate Wells Containing Carbon Dioxide

Abstract A relationship was developed to predict tubing life of annular-flow gas condensate wells containing carbon dioxide (CO2). Required parameters were obtained from information on liquid film flow dynamics. The correlation was developed with data from 12 gas condensate wells in the Gulf of Mexico and was used successfully to predict tubing life in wells worldwide.
