Brushless permanent magnet DC motor for electric automobile

2010
The utility model relates to a motor, in particular to a brushless permanent magnet DC motor for an electric automobile. The motor is characterized in that a stator is evenly provided with 12 grooves, and a rotor is evenly provided with 10 permanent magnets so as to be formed into a 12/10 structure; winding adopts 12/10 fractional grooves; and each groove adopts single-layer winding or double-layer winding. The motor is simple in structure, small in volume, high in efficiency, and simple in technology; the brushless permanent magnet DC motor with the 12/10 structure is high in material use ratio, simple in winding technology and small in torque pulsation; the motor has the magnetic circuit principle that the depth of a yoke of the stator is designed to be a half of the width of a tooth of the stator; the outer diameter of the stator of the motor is smaller relative to the existing motors with other structures; the winding adopts the 12/10 fractional grooves; each groove can adopt a single-layer or double-layer winding method; winding lines are connected with each other in the shape of three-phase star; only one end of the groove is provided with an outgoing line, and the winding span at the other end of the groove is 1; one groove is directly spanned to the adjoining groove; and the motor is very regular in structure and simple in technology.
