A lighting device suitable for outdoor exercise comprises a shell body, a battery module, a light source module and a control module. The battery module, the light source module and the control module are arranged in the shell body. The control module further comprises an action sensing unit and an action processing unit. The action sensing unit comprises at least one of an acceleration sensor, a magnetic force sensor and a gyroscope, so that the motion track of the shell body is sensed, and sensing signals are given correspondingly. The action processing unit comprises a single chip microcomputer which responds to the sensing signals and sends corresponding control signals to control the light source module to be in a corresponding working state. According to the lighting device, a user does not need to operate a special position, and erroneous judgment possibly caused by a pure intelligent response sensor can be avoided.
