Possibilities for Improvement and Reduction of Cost of the Managerial Personnel

If the magnificent objectives for the development of the national economy and culture advanced at the 21st Congress of the CPSU are to be brought to reality, this requires a further improvement of and a reduction in the cost of the apparatus of administration.The reorganization of the management of industry and construction carried out in 1957 made possible a sharp improvement in the management of the economy and, along with this, a reduction in the numbers of the managerial personnel, increasing the percentage of workers engaged directly in production.
