Dynamic performance Analysis and Optimization for Inner Sleeve of Helical Milling Equipment Unit

Dynamic performance analysis and optimization is carried out with Ansys,for an inner sleeve,the core part of helical milling equipment in aircraft assembly.The first and second order natural frequencies are found in the processing frequency range by modal analysis.Structure optimization design is carried out for the inner sleeve to reduce mass and avoid the first order resonant frequency.The result of the optimization shows that the mass and the first order frequency are reduced by 35.7% and 11.9% respectively,and the first order frequency leaves from the processing frequency range.The optimization result has been used in prototype manufacturing,and supplies strong support for reducing prototype mass and improving the dynamic performance.
