Design and manufacture of multi-position progressive die based on UG and MasterCAM

The application of CAD/CAM technology for multi-position progressive die was analyzed,the multi-position progressive die was designed under UG software circumstance,and the manufacture process of progressive die was simulated by MasterCAM software.The concurrently operation of two softwares not only could enhance the quality and efficiency of design and machine for progressive die,but also could make full use of superiority of multi-software to meet the requirement.The research results indicate that the combination of two softwares can greatly improve the production efficiency and die accuracy.
