Development and Application of Double Action Rod Pump

According to the feature of shallow oil reservoir in Jidong oilfield,the structure of the double action sucker rod pump with optimizing design seal,ringed-hollow cage,small plunger input oil cage were improved.In a single stroke,the pump could implement the process of oil input and output.The theoretic displacement of the pump was 1.7 times more than that of the same size conventional pump.It had some features as higher production,simple structure,and reliable performance.The double action pump's structure,principle,main technical parameter and characteristic were described in detail.The experiments showed that the pump met high production requirement and reduced the cost of operation and maintenance.
