A New Recognition Method of Intra-Pulse Modulation Mode

Aiming at the problem of low correct recognition rate to the modulation types of intra-pulse radar signal,an effective automatic recognition method of intra-pulse modulation types is put forward.This method extracts intra-pulse features of radar based on the method of time-frequency atom decomposition method.This dissertation puts forward an evolution algorithm combining differential evolution and genetic algorithm to search the best atom.Then,three kinds of features are extracted from atoms to be send into BP neural network to recognize intra-pulse modulation mode of signals.Simulation shows this algorithm has higher search rate and shorter search time in searching the best atom than using differential evolution algorithm.When the SNR is not less than-2dB,this algorithm has 90% correct recognition rate.
