The touch panel structure using a piezoelectric element

Provided is a touch panel wherein horizontal force feedback to the user and a touch-panel-using input means other than pressure can be implemented using a single component. A compound-lever displacement magnification mechanism is provided on the sides of the touch panel, filling the roles of both detection and drive source. This allows not only simple vibration output, but travelling wave output via touch locations. Also, using the displacement magnification mechanism to detect the motion of the touch panel itself makes it possible to provide input by moving the entire touch panel itself.
