Tooth Wear in Children and Young People

2021
Tooth surface loss is recognised as an increasing problem in children. Erosive tooth wear is the irreversible loss of dental hard tissues by a chemical process of acid dissolution but not associated with the plaque acids involved in the process of dental decay. This chapter discusses the aetiology, diagnosis and management of tooth surface loss in children.
