Polyester polyols, methods for their preparation and their use

The present invention relates to polyester polyols having low functionality, which are prepared in a two step process, wherein in the second stage cyclic ester monomers are reacted at low temperatures with a polyester polyol, as well as their use for the production of polyurethanes.
