Active Power Dispatching Strategy of Offshore Wind Farm Based on Improved Multi-agent System

2020
With the continuous development of offshore wind farms, it has gradually become a consensus to carry out effective power dispatching to improve the grid friendliness. Offshore wind farms usually have a definite direction of wind flow, upwind units tend to provide more active power and endure greater fatigue load, resulting in uneven fatigue distribution in wind farms. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel active power distribution strategy, which balances the fatigue distribution of the wind farm by dispatching the active power of wind turbines. At the same time, considering the remote location of offshore wind farms and the increasing number of wind turbines, intelligent distributed scheduling has become a trend. In this paper, an improved multi-agent consistency algorithm based on a distributed scheduling frame is proposed, which can carry out information interaction among wind turbines freely and distribute power instructions through independent coordination, thus greatly reducing the computation of wind farm control center. The simulation results show that, under the proposed strategy, the fatigue deviation between wind turbines is significantly reduced compared with the traditional dispatching strategy, and the fatigue distribution gradually tends to be uniform, which can effectively reduce the maintenance frequency and reduce the cost.
