Expression of the ORF2 Gene of Porcine Circovirus Type 2 in Yeast

In order to research for high-level expression of porcine circovirus type 2(PCVⅡ) ORF2 gene,the ORF2 gene of PCVⅡ was cloned into the genome of the pPICZαC expression vector to construct the recombinant plasmid pPICZαC-ORF2,and the resultant plasmid digested by SacⅠ was intergraded into the genome of P.pastoris expression strain SMD1168 by electroporation.The transformants were selected with zeocin,and the results of SDS-PAGE and Western blotting showed the capsid protein of PCVⅡ was secretory expressed successfully.
