The aim of this study was to evaluate seven lymph node biopsies of patients with toxoplasmosis, drug exposure and viral infections mimicking the clinical and pathological diagnosis of lymphomas. Similar lymphoproliferative disorders have been related with acetylsalicylic acid and adenovirus. We emphasize the necessary close relationship between physicians, clinicians and pathologists, to avoid misdiagnosis and erroneous treatment.
