Effect of Fe-EDDHA on correcting iron chlorosis and leaf elemental composition in Qinmei kisifruit orchards

2001
The effectiveness of different doses Fe-EDDHA on correcting Qinmei kiwifruit leaf chlorosis was evaluated during two consecutive years following soil-drench in calcareous oil in Qinmei kiwifruit orchards in Shaanxi Province. The results showed that the leaf can be turned green significantly with 45 g Fe-EDDHA per tree when the leaves are unfolding, the content of chlorophy and active iron in the leaf has increased by 182.5% and 53.2% respectively, the fruit quality also was improved. The mineral element contents between green and chlorotic leaves in kiwifruit orchards were discussed.
