The invention discloses a solid fermentation production method of bacillus coagulans. The method comprises the steps of: using bacillus coagulans as fermentation strain; culturing the bacillus coagulans in an optimized solid culture medium at 37-40 DEG C; performing large-scale fermentation production by three-stage amplification; performing colony counting on the bacillus coagulans culture, wherein the concentration of viable bacteria is as high as 9.10*10 CFU/g fresh yeast, and the concentration of spore is as high as 2.45*10 CFU/g fresh yeast. The method disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the production technique is simple and stable; the viable bacteria has high density; the fermentation products can be directly used without separation and purification, and are easy to produce and popularize; meanwhile, bacillus coagulans is added into feed as a feed additive and can be planted in animal caecum, colon and rectum so as to produce a large quantity of anti-microbial coagulin, lactic acid, amino acid and vitamins and various digestive enzymes by fermentation, so that the quality of the feed is improved, digestion and adsorption of the feed are promoted, and the feed conversion ratio is lowered.
