A repressed pattern. Plea for a reflexive corporation

In order to answer to the diagnoses of crisis, as to the delegitimization undertakings to which it is subjected, sociology must be rethought today in all generality. This ascent supposes taking up once again the question concerning its own domain, the basic condition for understanding what it is and should be. In this context, we propose a triptych of social motifs circumscribing the space of possible answers, both epistemological and political, to the founding question of sociology, having found an unexpected actuality thanks to the renewal of social naturalism. On this basis, we come to locate the origin of the impasse which strikes our corporation in the repression of the socialist motive. We thus invite to put forward the discourse on society as a whole, in order to relaunch the irreducible conflict between natural necessity and grammatical necessity. The removal of repression represents the social condition for constituting a reflexive corporation, capable of facing the disagreement that characterizes sociology since its emergence.
