Measurement of unsteady pressure distributions on a two-dimensional wing in a cooperative work with DLR

2012
In the frame work of the JAXA-DLR cooperation, wind tunnel test for measuring unsteady aerodynamics of a two-dimensional wing model was performed at Transonic Wind Tunnel Gottingen (TWG). The wing model which had been manufactured in Japan has NLR-7301 supercritical wing profile and has a flap which has 25% chord length. The flap is activated by hydraulic actuators and excites unsteady flow together with pitch oscillation. Unsteady pressure distributions were measured by transducers equipped in the model. Data which had been obtained are still being processed and will be compared with numerical analysis to achieve better precision.
