Procedures For The Isolation Of Tantalum Isotopes Produced By Deuteron Bombardment Of Tungsten

2010
Radiotantalum was produced by deuteron irradiation of tungsten. The radioisotopes of tantalum were separated from the tungsten by three different chemical procedures, namely by adsorption on iron hydroxide, separation by ion-exchange and liquid-liquid extraction. Identifications of these isotopes were performed and the yields were determined.
