Telemestein and variations in blood concentrations of lipoprotein A

: Twenty patients with high serum levels of Lp(a) were randomly treated with 900 mg/day telmestein or placebo. We found, in those treated with telmestein, a significant decrease of lipoprotein (a) serum levels (p < 0.05).
