Study on the Dynamic Change of Waterbird Diversity and Distribution in Xianghai

Based on the waterfowl survey data from 2005 to 2017 in Xianghai and six habitat variables data, three waterfowl diversity indices have been applied to measure the waterbird diversity in different seasons and landscape types, and the maximum entropy model has been applied to simulate the spatial distribution of three species of waterfowl. The results have showed that Shannon-Wiener index peaked in spring; Pielou evenness index and species richness index peaked in summer. The Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou evenness index of swamp, water, woodland and saline-alkali land were higher than those of other landscape types, and the lowest in residential & industrial land. The three species of waterbird are located in sites with high Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou evenness index in Xianghai.
