Douglas W. Larson is an adjunct professor of biology at Portland State University and a '''Science and Technology" columnist for National Forum, the journal of the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. He received a Ph.D. in limnology from Oregon State University and a B.S. in biology from Jamestown College.
