Characteristic of mechanically milled TiO2 powders

Abstract The phase transition of TiO 2 from the anatase to the high-pressure srilankite can be induced by the mechanical milling processes. Accompanying the mechanical milling, the lattice distortion of the milled anatase TiO 2 occurs. The photocatalyst efficiency of the srilankite phase is poorer than that of the anatase phase.
