A new proof of asymptotic equality of differential cross sections

Abstract A new proof of the asymptotic equality of the differential cross sections of direct and crossed reactions for s ′ → ∞ and t ′ fixed and also for s ′ → ∞ and t ′ = t ′ ( s ′) is given (the prime above s and t indicated their belonging to the physical region). This proof is based on the Meyman theorem 3, which makes it possible to demonstrate it under weaker assumptions than those in the equality proof given by Meyman in 1964.
