Preparation of high-grade oils by hydrocracking of paraffinic feedstock

High-grade oils with differing properties can be obtained with yields reaching 50 wt. % of the feedstock by hydrocracking vacuum distillate of Mangyshlak petroleum over a platinum aluminosilicate catalyst at a pressure of 100–200 atm.
