Влияние ноопепта на морфофункциональное состояние капиллярной системы коры большого мозга крыс

2015
The effect of noopept ( N -phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester) on cerebral cortex capillary network was studied on rats with the blood flow disturbance conditions induced by permanent right common carotid artery occlusion (CCAO). The cerebral microcirculation was observed by non-injective calcium-adenosine triphosphate method immediately after CCAO and upon noopept injection 30 min after the operation. Brain slices were prepared from cerebral cortex of rats, which were decapitated 60 min after noopept injection in a dose of 1 mg/kg. The control group animals were treated with 0.9% saline solution. The mean diameter, number of functioning capillaries, and distribution of capillary luminal diameters were calculated. The results showed that noopept reliably ( p < 0.05) prevented decrease in the number of functioning capillaries in both hemispheres (by 24.8 and 25.8% in the right and left one, respectively) and reliably ( p < 0.05) increased the functioning capillary diameter in unilateral (by 7.9%) and contralateral (by 7.6%) hemispheres as compared to the values observed after CCAO. These data show that one possible reason of the neuroprotective activity of noopept can be its ability to improve cerebral cortex blood flow under the ischemic damage conditions.
