Modal and Harmonic Analysis Based on ANSYS for Light Helicopter Tail Beam Tube

By using finite element software ANSYS,the modal analysis for one light helicopter tail beam tube was done for the basic vibration mode and related frequency.And according to the load on tail beam tube in helicopter flight state,a harmonic response analysis was carried out to get the displacement frequency curve of each node along the virtual axis X,Y,Z.Based on this,the tail beam tube harmonic response law was analyzed.It is concluded that the biggest influence of the tail beam tube on the vibration of helicopter is in the first order and second order of modal frequencies.
