Relações entre potência muscular e composição corporal
2019
ABSTRACT Relationship between muscle power and body composition Muscle Power is very important variable for football, as well body composition. Indeed, what the relationship between this variable because both have significance. So, the aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between muscle power and body composition variables. For this, 13 young football players (age 13.4 ± 0.1 years; body mass 53.4 ± 2.9 kg; height 1.62 ± 3.2 cm) were firstly analyzed in body composition by Dexa (Bone densitometry) and after 24 hours the players performed in wingate test for evaluation muscle power. The statistical analysis were begin with Shapiro-wilk for normality and Pearson for correlation (p < 0.05). The results showed correlation between absolute muscle power variables (PAP and PMA) and body composition parameters (TMM, MMLL, TBM) with Rs between 0.583 (p < 0.05) and 0.746 (p < 0.01). The fatigue index (FI) showed relationship with fat mass (-0.576). We conclude that muscle mass and bone mass are very import for development of muscle power and fat mass can be decrease on performance.
