Resolution of idiopathic erythema gyratum repens with acitretin.

A 67-year-old female patient presented with a 1-year history of erythema and scaling, initially limited to the ears, then progressing to the trunk and extremities. She had a history of breast cancer, which was in complete remission since 5 years. Additionally, family history revealed fatal breast cancer of her mother and daughter. No new medications were started prior to the skin eruption.
