Screening of Antagonistic Trichodemar Strain Against Stem Blight of Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briq.and Evaluation of Its Biocontrol Effect

Two Trichoderma viride strains,M3 and Tv04-2,were identified from sixteen Trichoderma strains that showing strongly antagonist activity to Phytophthora nicotianae of Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briq.by antagonistic tests,and the pathogen-inhibition ratio were 83.2% and 78.2%,respectively.Further research showed that,the bio-control effect of Trichoderma strain M3 against Phytophthora nicotianae was higher than Trichoderma strain Tv04-2 significantly.Results indicated that Tridroderma viride strain M3 having expecting biocontrol potential,and can be used as a biocontrol candidate to Phytophthora nicotianae of Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briq.
