Partial wave analyses ofJ/ψ→γK+K−andγKS0KS0

2003
Results are presented on $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ radiative decays to ${K}^{+}{K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and ${K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0}$ based on a sample of 58M $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events taken with the BES II detector. A partial wave analysis is carried out using the relativistic covariant tensor amplitude method in the 1--2 GeV mass range. There is conspicuous production due to the ${f}_{2}^{\ensuremath{'}}(1525)$ and ${f}_{0}(1710).$ The latter peaks at a mass of $1740\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{4}_{\ensuremath{-}25}^{+10}\mathrm{MeV}$ with a width of ${166}_{\ensuremath{-}8\ensuremath{-}10}^{+5+15}\mathrm{MeV}.$ Spin 0 is strongly preferred over spin 2. For the ${f}_{2}^{\ensuremath{'}}(1525),$ the helicity amplitude ratios are determined to be ${x}^{2}=1.00\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{0.28}_{\ensuremath{-}0.36}^{+1.06}$ and ${y}^{2}=0.44\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{0.08}_{\ensuremath{-}0.56}^{+0.10}.$
