DE LA GENETICA A LA GENOMICA

We are men and women of two extraordinary centuries. The twentieth century, heir to the great ideas and revolutions of the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries that may crystallize the long cherished dreams that remained pending in the biological agenda of the twentieth century: cancer, AIDS, neurobiology, cell differentiation, aging, environment and sustainable development. It will also be necessary to reflect, disseminate knowledge and continue the discussion on issues as relevant as transgenic organisms and gene therapies.
