Active-passive uhf method for studying low-temperature plasma formations
1981
The main ideas of an active: passive uhf method for low-temperature plasma diagnostics are presented. Models are considered along with some methods for solving a system of equations which make it possible to find the electron temperature, concentration, and frequency of electron: heavy particle collisions. Results are reported of an experiment which used the active: passive uhf method to determine the integrated parameters of the plasma column in a plasmotron working under reduced pressure conditions. The measurements were made in the 0.8-3-cm wave range.
