Spore Production of Top Branch Blight of Phyllostachys heterocyla

In oder to study the growth and development of top branch blight pathogen,9 strains isolated from diseased Mao bamboo are tested. The results showed that pathogen produced more hscospore when it was in the culture medium of 10% bamboo leaf juice plus surcrose at 25 ℃ with alternate light and darkness.
