Mediación entre iguales y prevención del abuso de benzodiacepinas en un centro penitenciario

Benzodiazepine abuse is a common problem in drug addicts. Twelve inmates from the Caceres Penitentiary Centre (health agents) were educated on the risks of the benzodiazepine abuse and it’s interaction with other CNS depressors. Agents divulged the information and designed support materials. No significant effects were found in the inmate population. Several implications are considered.
