The effect of shadowboxing combined with auricular point sticking on fatigue in patients with stable COPD

Objective To investigate the effect of shadowboxing combined with auricular point sticking on fatigue in patients with stable COPD. Methods 60 patients with stable COPD and fatigue were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group. Control group received routine nursing discharge instruction, and observation group received shadowboxing combined with auricular point sticking intervention on the basis. Evaluated clinical efficacy after 2 months. Results After intervention, fatigue score of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group [(78.81±2.81)vs.(94.08±3.50), P<0.05], lung function and life quality score were better than those of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Shadowboxing combined with auricular point sticking can effectively relieve the degree of fatigue in patients with stable COPD, improve lung function and the quality of life of patients.
