PREPARATION OF DINITRO-n-ALKYL PHENOLS

The preparation of a series of dinitro-n-alkyl phenols is described. The dinitrophenols were characterized as their piperidine, morpholine, and cyclohexylamine salts. In the course of the work some new derivatives of these n-alkyl phenols and intermediate hydroxyketones were obtained.
