Numerical Simulation and Optimization of Front Rails Extension Part Based on Dynaform

The stamping forming process of an automobile front rails extension part was numerically simulated based on blank stamping non-linear finite element software eta/Dynaform.Before the forming process optimization,the forming limit diagram was obtained.According to the simulation results,the drawing surface and the drawing bead were modified and optimized.Ultimately,the defect in the forming process was b eliminated.Supplying the optimized results to practical production,the eligible drawing parts were gained.
